Building the Bridge
Consultancy - Coaching - Tutoring - Resources
One of the defining characteristics of Literacy Bridge Education is my ability to offer a truly individualised service, whether that be to the children I work with, or the schools who seek support with units of work or coaching for inexperienced staff. You can request one scheme of work or revision session, or ask me to work with someone for a whole term: if I can accommodate your needs, I will strive to do so.
Please use the links below to explore the areas in which I can help in more detail, as well as to read some of the testimonials I have received. Then, if you think you would like to get in touch, I will be delighted to hear from you.

Resources
I have produced a wide range of resources for many different year groups and am happy to write units of work for schools or as homeschooling aids.
In particular, I have led training within two different schools on the writing and use of a series of resources I've developed to support the teaching of reading skills. These PowerPoint presentations are centred around a focal text and encourage the discussion and competent use of key reading skills - I have used the terms adopted by the outstanding Literacy Shed website for these: VIPERS (Vocabulary; Inference; Prediction; Explain; Retrieve; Sequence/Summarize)
